 Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform & Consumer Protection Act Minimize

The Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act was signed into law by President Barack Obama on July 21, 2010. The law's far reaching impact will take years to understand, but as mortgage professionals we do know that Title IX (Risk Retention); Title X (The Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection) and Title XIV, Subtitles A, B, C and F will have a dramatic effect on consumers and the mortgage industry. This section of the website will provide information on the act and activities around its implementation.
